Ernesto is a stand-up comedian, actor, and storyteller from the West Phoenix neighborhood of Maryvale. He began his comedy career in 2012, gaining popularity for his quick wit and fearless attitude. His comedy celebrates and explores the complex experiences of being a bilingual, US-born, Latinx, LGBTQ person who is obsessed with Zac Efron. Ernesto is the co-producer of the That’s SO Gay! Comedy Show at Stir Crazy Comedy Club in Glendale, AZ, Comedy Triage at the Big Pine Comedy Festival in Flagstaff, AZ, and the annual Naughty Comedy Show at Phoenix Pride’s Erotic World in Phoenix, AZ.

Ernesto has appeared on TV and in commercials for Conn’s Home Plus, Pure Flix, and Cable One. In addition, he co-hosts the ¡Uy, Cucuy! podcast and is an ensemble member with Teatro Bravo Theatre Company. He believes that comedy can be a form of activism, and uses it to break down barriers and resistances to new ideas through laughter. He can be seen in a city near you, fighting for social justice, one guffaw at a time.
